Details
The Les George designed Kershaw Spline has plenty of curves. There is not a straight line anywhere on this knife. Small and easy to carry, it's smooth flat handle doesn't have any sharp edges to snag on the pocket. Nice deep carry pocket clip and everyday wear resistant BlackWash coating makes this knife a great EDC.
The Blade: Modified wharncliffe creates a good all around edge with excellent push-cutting capability. A top swedge helps to thin the blade and the low tip helps attribute to its cutting power. From the swedge the blade rises up to form three notches that create a perfect place to rest a thumb. Combine that with a deep finger groove and the integral flipper and you have a knife that puts the user in full control.
The Handle: Here you can some influences from Les' Zero Tolerance 0900 in the shape but slimmed down all over. The pivot hardware, reversible deep carry clip and large lanyard hole jump out immediately. There is even a frame lock over travel limiter designed into the pivot area. Heavily notched backspacer forms a solid backbone for this stout little pocket knife.
Brand new direct from Kershaw.
