Kizer VK1 Vulpex Satin S35VN Titanium Frame Lock Flipper KI4565A1

Designed by German custom knife maker Steven Kempa of Vulpex HPM Knives, the Kizer VK1 brings his custom fixed blade design into the production market as a sleek and stylish titanium frame lock flipper. With an eye catching and ergonomic design and exceptional fit and finish the VK1 makes a great choice for daily carry and use. This version has a matte gray titanium handle and satin finished S35VN blade.

Blade: Made of satin finished CPM-S35VN, the modified Wharncliffe blade comes with a nearly full flat grind and tapered point for optimal performance. A ball bearing pivot and dialed in detent make deployment fast, smooth and decisive while the ingenious flipper design maintains a low profile when closed and is completely hidden when open. The blade is etched with the Vulpex "Fox" Logo and adorned with a copper pin.

Handle: Matte gray titanium slabs are milled with textured grooves for traction and contoured for comfort. The tapered design is clean, aesthetic and creates an integral guard helping to lock the handle securely in the grip. Internal milling reduces weight and pairs with the partial back spacer for excellent balance. One slab is cut with the integral frame lock and equipped with a steel lock face and over travel stop for reliable, rock solid operation and safe use. At the pommel a generous hole is provided for lanyard attachment. Includes a Velcro nylon pouch for storage.

Carries via a right hand, tip-up, 3D machined titanium pocket clip.

CPM S35VN: was designed to offer improved toughness over CPM S30V. It is also easier to machine and polish than CPM S30V and the adjusted chemistry makes CPM S35VN about 15-20% tougher than CPM S30V without any loss of wear resistance. CPM S35VN’s improved toughness gives it better resistance to edge chipping.
