Handmade Fractal 2.0 #36 Flipper by Jason Overall of Larevo Knives featuring Blackwood Carbon Fiber and a ZFinit wharncliffe-styled blade. Plenty of very cool materials and stylings in this piece sure to be a hit in any collection.

The Blade: High-performance ZFinit Nitrogen Stainless steel blade has right about three inches of cutting edge. Slightly hollow ground and given a horizontal satin finish, this blade flies on a caged bearings pivot system. 

The Handle: The base of this Fractal are anodized fading green titanium slabs, with one forming the strong frame lock. Atop sits a very intricately woven Blackwood carbon fiber scale and heat colored Zirconium bolster. They are attached to the Ti with AKS Beta titanium green screws and match well with the Steve Kelly titanium two-tone green pivot screws. Around back is a heat colored zirconium backspacer that matches the hand-sculpted zirconium pocket clip.

About Z-Finit (Zapp Fine grain Nitrogen steel): is a high performance high corrosion resistant stainless steel that has been cryogenic treated in liquid nitrogen after quenching to achieve maximum wear resistance. With a HRc of 59, this gives performance that is comparable to 52100. Because it is a nitrogen stainless steel, the corrosion resistance is excellent, far surpassing 440C.
