Les Voorhies Custom Void Blue Kirinite and S35VN Flipper

The Void Flipper from custom maker Les Voorhies is an exercise in tactical art. It's aggressive, stunning looks are only the beginning. Les' veteran expertise shines through on this piece. From the exquisite blade grinds to the fit and finish of the materials, this Void is one tight package.

The Blade: 3.5 inches of tanto-expressing power built from top-notch CPM S35VN premium steel and given a shimmering satin finish. This multi-ground modified tanto has a slick upper swedge and a shaving sharp cutting edge. Brilliantly executed with the spine left clean and flipping right at the sweet spot. A tug on the exposed flipper tab sends this one out with an audible "thwack" locking up solid and true. The bearings pivot is smooth as butter at a Summer picnic. The look of this blade is all boss.

The Handle: A fantastic combination of blue Kirinite and marbled Carbon Fiber fit together like a glove. The carbon fiber is almost bolster-y until in runs thinly down the rest of the handle dividing the blue sea. The Kirinite are actually inlays secured to the carbon fiber scales. Pretty cool work. Full length blue anodized titanium liners provide the foundation and lockup. Open back, clean construction with simply a small zirconium back spacer accent cornered near the end. The Void is complete with blue titanium hardware throughout and Kirinite pivot collars. It carries via a long blue Ti clip fit for tip up travel. 

This custom ships in a foam-fitted box with microfiber baggie and signed/dated card from Mr Les Voorhies.
