LionSteel B35 Olive Wood Flat Ground Sleipner Bushcraft Fixed Blade
The B35 from LionSteel blends the best of two of their most popular fixed blade models: the M1 and M4. The design is more compact and slim than the M4 while maintaining a friendly everyday carry size thanks to the influence of the M1. Sleipner delivers good performance for outdoor use while the handle delivers LionSteel's signature ergonomic experience. This version has Olive Wood handle scales.
Brand new, direct from LionSteel of Italy.
Blade: With a full flat ground, spear point blade the B35 delivers optimal slicing and piercing performance with a subtle taper toward the tip to retain good durability. Standard Italian class includes a fine satin finish and crowned spine for a high-end look and feel. Coming in at just under 4 mm thick the blade is capable of all but the heaviest tasks while still being a suitable option for mountain hiking where weight is a concern.
Handle: A full tang construction supports beautifully contoured and ergonomic handles attached with stainless steel Torx hardware. With a relatively neutral design the handles provide a secure, comfortable feel in multiple grips. The exposed tang end has been ground to 90 degrees for striking a Ferro rod for fire making and a generous hole is provided for lanyard attachment.
Sheath: Carries via a high quality, stitched Italian leather pouch sheath with snap retention and loop for belt carry.
Sleipner Tool Steel: is a cold work tool steel from Bohler-Uddeholm with an attainable hardness of 60-64 Hrc. This modification of the classic AISI D2 tool steel, Sleipner has improved toughness compared to D2 with good wear and chipping resistance. Lionsteel has had better edge holding performance compared to M390.
