Handle Material

The SOLID Platform

The Emmet is built as one solid piece. Rather than scales bolted to liners, the whole frame is milled from a single titanium or aluminum billet, so the lock is cut straight into the body instead of added as a separate part. A hardened steel insert caps the lockbar where it meets the tang, taking the wear. It scales the larger Skinny down to a blade under three inches.

The REF System

The REF system is LionSteel's take on the removable flipper: unscrew the flipper tab and run the knife with or without it. Deployment rides ceramic ball bearings, so the blade opens cleanly against a light-to-medium detent and snaps out when you flip it with intent. In hand it fills a three-finger grip just shy of four, rides low in the pocket, and holds the fit and finish LionSteel is known for.
