The largest in Lionsteel's outdoor knife line, the M7 has a robust construction and durable materials to handle the heaviest camp uses, including chopping and batoning. Made with SOLID technology the 4-axis milled handle is made from a solid block for optimum durability while offering exceptional comfort and security in use. At over 5 mm thick the Sleipner tool steel blade can handle nearly any task while the height and grind offering good slicing performance for game processing and finer tasks. This version comes with a satin finished blade, blasted hardware, green canvas Micarta handle and Kydex sheath with MOLLE compatible Cordura back.

Blade: The drop point Sleipner blade is delivered in a high performance satin finish for a striking look. Equipped with a high saber grind, the tall blade has a good heft for chopping tasks with good durability while retaining good slicing geometry and a relative ease in sharpening. A generous index finger choil allows for a close grip for more controlled work and added safety.

Handle: The SOLID knife handle is machined from a solid Micarta block. Milled with a machine texture, this handle offers a safe and secure grip and exceptional durability. An exposed pommel end can be used as a striking tool and a generous hole is provided for lanyard attachment.

Sheath: Carries via a Kydex sheath with MOLLE compatible Cordura back and belt loop.

Sleipner Tool Steel: is a cold work tool steel from Bohler-Uddeholm with an attainable hardness of 60-64 Hrc. This modification of the classic AISI D2 tool steel, Sleipner has improved toughness compared to D2 with good wear and chipping resistance. Lionsteel has had better edge holding performance compared to M390.
