Details

The SR-11 Integral Flipper knife from LionSteel Italy is the next generation of the wildly popular SR-1 models. Now with a flipper, internal bearings pivot system and tungsten carbide glass breaker the SR-11 is ready for lift off.

Brand new product directly from LionSteel Knives, Italy. Winner 2017 Blade Show Overall Knife of the Year

Blade: Made from a high-alloyed stainless tool steel known as Sleipner created by Uddelholm for excellent wear and chipping resistance combined with high hardness. It works hard and comes shaving sharp right out of the box. The big belly of the SR-1 is trimmed down here a bit and given an aggressive upper swedge grind. This allows for a more "piercing" drop point than its predecessor. This version is black PVD coated and with a tumbled finish, crowned spine and integral flipper tab deployment that's just a joy to operate thanks to the dialed in detent. This is a robust blade that won't shy away from hard work.

Handle: The integral handle is built from a single piece of titanium milled using 4-axis machining. This texturing has been taken up a notch or two from the SR-1. It feels fantastic and is in no way aggressive. The single piece is black PVD coated and tumbled and comes complete with a frame locking mechanism plus Rotoblock system. That's your lock bar stabilizer that, if spun, will completely block or lock your bar in the open position. This, in essence, turns your folder into a fixed blade. Once spun back the other way, you are free to release the lock bar. Pretty cool. A lanyard hole is built into the handle.

The SR-11 Titanium Flipper ships with a black leather belt sheath and glass breaker end along with a proprietary pivot tool taped to the bottom of the box.

Carries via a reversible, tip-up, deep carry pocket clip.

Sleipner Tool Steel: is a cold work tool steel from Bohler-Uddeholm with an attainable hardness of 60-64 Hrc. This modification of the classic AISI D2 tool steel, Sleipner has improved toughness compared to D2 with good wear and chipping resistance. Lionsteel has had better edge holding performance compared to M390.
