The Strider MT/Mod10 "Chuck Mawhinney" Sniper model with Olive Drab Paracord Wrapped handle honors the Marine sniper who holds the record for most confirmed kills by a USMC sniper.
This excellent general/all purpose field blade is built to last from Carpenter's super tough PSF-27 carbon steel and given a calssic TigerStriped finish. The cord wrapped handle is tightly wound for a full solid grip that leads up to an integral finger guard.
Includes an OD nylon sheath with insert. The MT/Mod 10 is awarded to the top graduates of the USMC Scout Sniper School. Brand new directly from Strider Knives.
About PSF-27 Tool Steel: tool steel alloy uses the Spray Forming Process resulting in improved wear resistance, toughness, crack resistance and higher hardness.The result is D2 with better edge holding and toughness than cast D2.
