Marfione Custom Combat Troodon Compound Ground Clip Point out-the-front automatic knife is a substantial tool, popular among military, law enforcement and first responders. This knife is slender enough to keep on your person daily while the Apocalyptic two-tone DLC blade appeals directly to collectors. The Troodon is named after a bird-like dinosaur from the Campanian Age and is ready to strike. This custom version comes with ringed DLC hardware and satin, anodized, hefted alloy handles.

Brand new, direct from Microtech Knives, USA.

Blade: The compound ground, clip point blade combines powerful cutting performance with an aggressive look. Premium M390 blade steel was chosen for its edge retention and corrosion resistant properties. Adding to the custom feel is two-tone finish with horizontal satin flats and spine and an Apocalyptic DLC coating on the grinds. It deploys via a dual action automatic mechanism. Simply press the thumb slide up to open and then back down to close. Simple, fast and smooth.

Handle: Robust brushed satin and anodized hefted aircraft alloy offers plenty of real estate, substantial enough for even the largest or gloved hands. It has a smooth, clean feel with sections of wide jimping perfectly placed for a secure grip. It is built with Microtech's proprietary Black DLC ringed titanium hardware, integrated glass breaker end and pocket clip. The clip features the Customs dagger, date of production, serial number and makers' marks.

The knife ships in a display box with microfiber baggie and cloth, zipper pouch plus signed Certificate of Authenticity plate.

Bohler M390: Bohler M390 has become an extremely popular choice for high-end user grade knives thanks to its extreme edge retention. M390 also has a good corrosion resistance, meaning most users can avoid problems by simply wiping off their blade after each use. Another great feature of this steel is its ability to resist burr formation during sharpening. Comparable steels are CTS-204P and Duratech 20CV.
