The Arctic Circle name comes from Marttiini's location and the contrast of their bright summer nights and dark winter days. The blade design makes for a great carving knife and is ideally suited for light jobs. The Carbinox T508 blade is more corrosion resistant than traditional carbon steels due to the 8% chromium content and is simple to maintain, just dry between uses and oil with unsalted oil on a regular basis. Being a carbon steel it still has the toughness, ease of sharpening and durability that is expected. Smooth natural birch wood handle has a contoured shape for a firm and safe grip. Includes a light tan leather sheath with embossed Marttiini Logo.
