The Lynx Lumberjack is a great carving knife and ideally suited for light jobs. The Carbinox T508 blade is more corrosion resistant than traditional carbon steels due to the 8% chromium content and is simple to maintain, just dry between uses and oil with unsalted oil on a regular basis. Being a carbon steel it still has the toughness, ease of sharpening and durability that is expected. Stained Birch wood handle has a slight texture for a firm and safe grip yet remains beautiful.
