The Maverick Custom Knives Frame Lock Front Flipper is a simple, straightforward cutting tool built for hard use. The design, construction and finish are practical and utilitarian while still affording some unique aesthetic appeal to your collection. This piece comes with an acid washed CPM-10V harpoon spear point blade and flame anodized titanium handles.

Blade: The stout harpoon spear point blade rides smooth on durable phosphor bronze washers with the jimped front flipper tab allow for fast or controlled opening. Equipped with a dark acid washed and tumbled finish, the CPM-10V blade is non-reflective and hides wear from use while delivering high-end edge retention. A high saber grind and tip swedge provide balanced performance and durability for heavy use. A comfortable thumb scoop offers enhanced leverage.

Handle: Thick slabs of subtly contoured titanium are joined with barrel spacers in an open back construction and finished with a matte gray bead blast and unique flame anodization. The neutral design accommodates multiple grip options with an index choil for added safety in the forward grip and a rock solid titanium frame lock for smooth operation and secure lockup. Includes a zippered nylon pouch with signed information card.

Carries via a right hand, tip-up 3D titanium pocket clip.

CPM-10V: CPM-10V is a high wear tool steel made using the Crucible Particle Metallurgy process, delivering a relatively fine-grained steel with extreme wear resistance and toughness at or better than many PM stainless steel. Edge retention is comparable to K390 and S110V, 10V has low corrosion resistance, similar to M4.
