Blade: The San Mai VG-10 stainless steel blade opens smoothly on Mcusta's special oiled washer system via dual thumb studs. The nearly full length clip point swedge and shallow hollow grind offer powerful piercing and slicing performance while maintaining good durability. The Damascus clad San Mai construction delivers a faux Hamon line which pairs with the Damascus for a high-end style.

Handle: Robust steel liners support handsome and durable Korian MGV composite handle scales that are milled for added traction. Strategic jimping around the handle offers added security in multiple grips while the clean, tapered design is ergonomic for use. The liner lock mechanism is strong, intuitive and reliable for use.

San Mai VG10: VG-10 is a high-carbon stainless steel that takes a very good edge and holds it well. Popular with Japanese kitchen knife makers it is often hardened to 60-61 HRC A popular choice for small pocket knives thanks to good edge holding and stain resistance VG10 works well with a high polished, acute edge for optimal slicing performance. San Mai cladding gives the blade added durability and corrosion resistance.
