Part of the Custom Series the Mcusta 171 'Jazz' comes with beautiful, contoured Cocobolo and African Ebony scales over steel liners outfitted with a drop point, satin finished VG-10 stainless steel blade. The display scale has a polished stainless steel inlay that hints at its musical origins. Clean, minimalist and elegant in design, the Mcusta 171 Jazz is an every day carry gentleman's knife for the user and collector alike.

Blade: Crafted from solid VG-10 stainless steel the drop point blade of the Jazz is equipped with a full flat grind for great slicing performance while retaining good durability. The crowned spine and polished satin finish are fitting for a custom series gentleman's folder. It opens smoothly on Teflon washers via dual thumb studs which match the satin pivot hardware. The blade is beautiful, functional and utilitarian.

Handle: The exposed stainless steel liners are seamless and smooth creating the foundation for the handsome Cocobolo and Ebony wood handle scales. The ergonomic design delivers a secure grip while the liner lock mechanism provides reliable lockup and smooth operation. A partial backspacer and stainless pommel end deliver perfect balance in hand while jimping on the backspacer gives some added grip. A hole is provided for lanyard attachment.
