Medford Infraction Tumbled S35VN Bead Blast Blue Bronze Falling Leaf Titanium Folder

For those of you that find a full-sized Medford pocket knife (XL for most folks) a bit cumbersome, Medford Knife & Tool has developed the streamlined, rocket ship folder just for you. It is called the Infraction, and it is one of the smallest and lightest knives with a full size, full length frame they have ever produced. This may truly be the ultimate in hard use, everyday carry folders. This version comes with a tumbled CPM-S35VN drop point blade, bead blasted blue over bronze handles with "Falling Leaf" milling, matching two-tone clip and blue hardware.

Blade: The utilitarian drop point blade is made from 3/16" thick S35VN that is ground with a mid-height hollow grind for exceptional piercing and slicing ability with tank-like durability. The entire blade is tumbled finished to hide wear from use. The blade deploys smoothly on the dual phosphor bronze washer setup and opens ambidextrously via the large blade hole and fuller milling or the minimalist flipper tab with a bit of wrist action. A generous finger choil allows for optimal control of the blade for fine work.

Handle: Two beefy slabs of titanium and an NP3 D2 tool steel spacer form the handle. The front has a deep fuller and contoured steps for comfort while the reverse is an integral frame lock delivering solid lock up and safe operation. Both slabs are finished in bead blasted blue over bronze anodization with custom "Falling Leaf" milling for traction and style. Construction is completed with blue anodized hardware and both slabs and blade are marked with an individual serial number. Includes an S3 Hard Case for transportation and storage.

Carries via a right hand milled titanium pocket clip.

CPM-S35VN: Modified CPM-S30V designed for improved toughness (15-20%) and ease of machining and polishing. Well-balanced for daily use, S35VN has better edge retention and toughness compared to 440C or VG10, with equivalent corrosion resistance.
