Medford Knives Chunky Monkey All Black PVD S35VN Titanium Frame Lock Flipper

Whether you call it a Sheepsfoot, Wharncliffe or Cleaver the Chunky Monkey from Medford Knife and Tool is a beefy little powerhouse flipper. Made from dual slabs of 3/16" thick titanium, this frame lock flipper is small yet mighty offering a +2" blade of S35VN that is robust and slices like a razor. Thanks to the compact size the Chunky Monkey makes a perfect choice for urban areas or office carry. This version comes with a black PVD coated blade with matching handles, hardware, and clip.

Blade: Hollow ground from 3/16" thick CPM-S35VN the Sheepsfoot blade has razor-like slicing performance with exceptional durability. The black PVD coating delivers a discreetly non-reflective finish while the bearing pivot allows for smooth operation. Jimping on the spine pairs with the flipper tab guard provide added safety for serious use.

Handle: Two 3/16" slabs of solid titanium pair with a PVD coated, hardened D2 tool steel spacer to create the handle. Both slabs have a matching black PVD finish for discreet carry. Stepped milling on the front gives a more contoured feel while chamfered edges provides enhanced comfort. The beefy frame lock mechanism is rock solid and smooth in operation. Includes an S3 hard case for storage and transport.

Carries via a right hand milled titanium pocket clip.

CPM-S35VN: Modified CPM-S30V designed for improved toughness (15-20%) and ease of machining and polishing. Well-balanced for daily use, S35VN has better edge retention and toughness compared to 440C or VG10, with equivalent corrosion resistance.
