Blade: The utilitarian, drop point blade is made from ultra-tough, +1/4 inch thick CPM-3V that has been black PVD coated and ground with a mid-height hollow grind delivering a powerful slicing and piercing performance with tank-like durability. Over 3.5 inches of razor sharp cutting edge leave you capable of handling any task that arises. Phosphor bronze washers deliver smooth operation with ambidextrous deployment via the large blade fuller milling. Aggressive jimping on the spine transitions into the handle for exceptional traction.
Handle: Two beefy slabs of bead blasted titanium and a PVD coated D2 back spacer make up the handle. Both front and back slabs are outfitted with "Peaks and Valleys" milling for style and traction. PVD coated titanium hardware and partial back spacer with exposed striker pommel round out the construction. Both slabs and blade are marked with an individual serial number. Includes a padded hard case for transportation and storage along with a handmade Hidden Lotus Samurai Sack pouch.
Carries via a right hand, tip-up 3D titanium pocket clip.
CPM-3V: is a high carbon alloy steel that extremely tough and has enough chromium to have some corrosion resistance. However, care is required to prevent corrosion. The edge can be ground thin as it is tough enough to support a fine edge. 3V delivers the highest level of toughness while maintaining good edge retention.
