Medford Micro Praetorian T Tanto PVD S35VN Faced/Flamed Bronze Titanium Frame Lock Folder

The 2/3 size of the Micro Praetorian T is a chunky folder that offers the same blade and scale thickness as its larger counterpart. This beefy little monster can easily be slipped into smaller pockets while offering the same durability and similar ergonomic grip of its bigger brother. If you're looking for a smaller version of the Praetorian T or just want a compact chunky folder, this is the knife for you. This version has a black PVD coated S35VN Tanto blade, faced, flamed and bronze anodized front, tumbled bronze lock side and faced and flamed clip.

Blade: The utilitarian, Tanto point blade is made from tough, 3/16" thick CPM-S35VN that is ground with a mid-height hollow grind delivering a powerful slicing performance with piercing Tanto point and tank-like durability. Finished in a matte black PVD coating the blade is discreetly non-reflective in use. The blade deploys smoothly on the phosphor bronze washer pivot and opens ambidextrously via the large blade fuller milling. Aggressive jimping on the spine transitions into the handle and offers unparalleled traction in the hand.

Handle: Two beefy, 1/8" slabs of anodized titanium and a PVD coated D2 back spacer make up the handle. The front scale is milled with finger groove divots for enhanced traction while the back scale forms the simple, robust, integral frame lock mechanism. The front scale has a stunning faced, flamed and bronze anodized finish while the back and slab edges are blasted, tumbled and bronze anodized for a rugged and subdued look. Construction is completed with black titanium hardware, partial back spacer with exposed striker pommel and flamed lock bar stabilizer. Both slabs and blade are marked with an individual serial number. Includes an S3 Hard Case for transportation and storage.

Carries via a faced and flamed right hand, tip-up 3D machined titanium pocket clip. 

CPM S35VN: was designed to offer improved toughness over CPM S30V. It is also easier to machine and polish than CPM S30V and the adjusted chemistry makes CPM S35VN about 15-20% tougher than CPM S30V without any loss of wear resistance. CPM S35VN’s improved toughness gives it better resistance to edge chipping.
