The original Praetorian design size, the Praetorian Genesis is a perfect choice for the “This one is too big, this one is too small” knife user. The Praetorian Genesis is the middle ground between the standard and Micro versions that is large enough for nearly anything while still being relatively friendly for everyday carry. This version has a black PVD coated, CPM-3V Tanto Point blade, faced flame anodized blues front with PVD clip and bead blasted blue anodized lock side.

Blade: The utilitarian, Tanto blade is made from ultra tough, 3/16" thick CPM-3V that has been black PVD coated and ground with a mid-height hollow grind delivering powerful slicing performance with a piercing Tanto point, tank-like durability and just over 3 inches of razor sharp cutting edge. A robust point pierces with ease while the forward edge excels at detail work. The blade deploys smoothly on the phosphor bronze washer pivot and opens ambidextrously via the large blade fuller milling. Aggressive jimping on the spine transitions into the handle and offers unparalleled traction in the hand.

Handle: Two beefy slabs of anodized titanium and a PVD coated D2 back spacer make up the handle. The front scale is milled with finger groove divots for enhanced traction while the back scale forms the simple, robust, integral frame lock mechanism. With +4 inches of grip area the Genesis can accommodate even large gloved hands. The construction is completed with PVD coated titanium hardware and partial back spacer with exposed striker pommel. Both slabs and blade are marked with an individual serial number.

Carries via a right hand, tip-up only 3D Machined Titanium pocket clip. Includes an S3 Hard Case for transportation and storage.

CPM-3V: is a high carbon alloy steel that extremely tough and has enough chromium to have some corrosion resistance. However, care is required to prevent corrosion. The edge can be ground thin as it is tough enough to support a fine edge. 3V delivers the highest level of toughness while maintaining good edge retention.
