This version has a black PVD coated S35VN Tanto blade, matching titanium handle slabs, faced blue pivot, LBS and clip and flamed hardware.

Blade: The utilitarian, Tanto point blade is made from ultra-tough, 3/16" thick CPM-S35VN that has been black PVD coated for discreet use. Ground with a mid-height hollow grind the blade delivers 3.5 inches of razor sharp cutting edge with a powerfully piercing Tanto point flat ground for tank-like durability. Deploying smoothly on the phosphor bronze washer pivot the blade opens ambidextrously via the large blade fuller milling. Aggressive jimping on the spine transitions into the handle and offers exceptional traction.

Handle: Two beefy, 1/8" slabs of titanium and a D2 back spacer make up the handle. The front scale is milled with finger groove divots for enhanced traction while the back scale forms the simple, robust, integral frame lock mechanism all finished with non-reflective black PVD. Construction is completed with flamed titanium hardware with a faced and blue anodized pivot, LockBar Stabilizer and clip along with the partial back spacer with exposed striker pommel. Both slabs and blade are marked with an individual serial number. Includes a padded hard case for transportation and storage.

Carries via a right hand, tip-up 3D titanium pocket clip.

CPM S35VN: was designed to offer improved toughness over CPM S30V. It is also easier to machine and polish than CPM S30V and the adjusted chemistry makes CPM S35VN about 15-20% tougher than CPM S30V without any loss of wear resistance. CPM S35VN’s improved toughness gives it better resistance to edge chipping.
