A knife you will always want close at hand, the Proxima is a more carry friendly version of the Gigantes while still being a formidable cutting tool. Medford's 3/16″ stock on the aggressive harpoon blade and beefy titanium handle slabs offer a robust EDC folding knife with multiple deployment options. This version has a tumbled CPM-S35VN blade and matching bronze anodized titanium handles with black PVD coated hardware and clip.

Blade: The 3/16" thick tumbled CPM-S35VN harpoon point blade delivers over 3.5 inches of cutting edge with a mid-height hollow grind and top swedge for devastating slicing and piercing performance. Operation is smooth thanks to large, durable phosphor bronze washers at the pivot with ambidextrous deployment via dual stepped fullers or the large index flipper with some wrist action. The flipper doubles as a large and functional guard when open.

Handle: The handle consists of 3/16" thick titanium slabs joined by barrel spacers in an open back construction. The slabs have a matching tumbled bronze anodization for a handsome look, with the front scale sporting an index groove and stepped milling for a more contoured feel. A simple, robust, integral frame lock mechanism cut into the back providing secure lockup and safe use. Black PVD coated titanium hardware, clip, and lanyard hole cutouts complete the build. Both slabs and blade come marked with an individual serial number. Includes an S3 Hard Case and Certificate of Creation and Authenticity.

Carries via a right hand, milled titanium pocket clip.

CPM-S35VN: Modified CPM-S30V designed for improved toughness (15-20%) and ease of machining and polishing. Well-balanced for daily use, S35VN has better edge retention and toughness compared to 440C or VG10, with equivalent corrosion resistance.
