Medford USMC Fighter Flipper PVD S35VN Black PVD and Bronze Titanium Folder

Inspired by the historic Marine Corp fighting knife, the Medford USMC Fighter Flipper is a modern titanium frame lock flipper with timeless style and reliable, tank-like Medford construction on which you can rely. Grooved for the look of stacked leather the subtly "coke bottle" shaped titanium frame lock handle construction delivers excellent strength in a more compact, folding knife package. The drop point profile is more utilitarian than the original clip point while being a formidable defensive tool. This piece comes with a PVD coated S35VN blade and matching black PVD handle with bronze hardware, pommel end and faced bronze and PVD clip.

Blade: Wide and tall, the drop point blade of 3/16" thick S35VN with a mid-height hollow grind for solid slicing paired with a piercing top swedge. Riding on durable phosphor bronze washers the blade deploys via a pronounced index flipper with a bit of wrist action or use the dual fullers for more discreet operation. Low-profile PVD coating offers a discreet look with enhanced corrosion resistance.

Handle: Two slabs of solid titanium are groove milled for traction with a subtly contoured shape that is comfortable and secure in the hand and offers multiple grip options. Black PVD coating maintains a discreet look in carry complemented by bronze anodized hardware, tumbled pommel end, and two-tone faced bronze clip. The integral frame lock is solid and secure in operation and easy to use. Handle slabs and blade come with an individual serial number. Includes an S3 Hard Case for transportation and storage.

Carries via a right hand milled titanium pocket clip with tension ball. 

CPM-S35VN: Modified CPM-S30V designed for improved toughness (15-20%) and ease of machining and polishing. Well-balanced for daily use, S35VN has better edge retention and toughness compared to 440C or VG10, with equivalent corrosion resistance.
