Mick Strider Custom XL San Mai Damascus Textured Ti

The Strider Knives XL model is the yeti of the bunch and not for the faint of heart registering in at nearly a whopping ten inches overall. This custom version was handmade by the owner himself, Mick Strider for some of the greatest tactical precision in our industry. This unique XL is a work of hardcore art any collector of the genre would be proud to own.

The Blade: Mick crafted this one into a piercing dagger shape with wicked intimidation and collector appeal. The precision, patience and technique that goes into every blade is absolutely astonishing for a knife lover. This one features an aggressive dagger point with dueling hollow grinds from some blue dipped, homemade san mai. A long thumb ramp with familiar deep Strider notching blends into a faux top edge. It operates smoothly via an ambidextrous oval window cutout of the flat with small blade stop protrusions. The choil is signed M. Strider. 

The Handle: Over 5 inches of textured, Magic Mick anodized glorious titanium with carefully grooved edges and textures galore. It's a spectacular combination of bronze/blues/purples you have to see in person to fully appreciate. It's that cool. Construction on this beast consists entirely of titanium. Oversized Ti barrel spacers, hardware and internal "closed" blade stop. The pivot bolt construction is now titanium as well. It works in conjunction with thick phosphor bronze washers to create that silky action. The XL also utilizes the Hinderer Lockbar Stabilizer to prevent over-extension of the bar. A 3/4 inch slot is cut from the bottom to allow for lanyard customization. 

Final touches on the Custom XL is a hand made tip up carry titanium pocket clip. This one ships in a USA Made black, padded zipper pouch with MSC-XL + Killerman and Sons patches on the front.
