This Microtech Akris is a hunting knife with a handle that fills the hand and a blade cut thin for field dressing. It wears Dark Earth Brown G10 and rides in a tan Kydex sheath.

• Stonewashed M390MK Straight Back Blade - M390MK is a premium powder stainless that holds an edge and shrugs off rust. The spine runs flat to the tip on thin stock, and the stonewash hides the scratches real use leaves. Bringing the edge back wants diamond or CBN.
• Dark Earth Brown Milled G10 Handle - Milled G10 has traction without abrading a palm, and it keeps hold wet or cold. The handle fills a hand front to back, and a pronounced guard locks the grip in one spot.
• Tan Kydex Sheath with Detachable Belt Loop - The blade seats into the sheath with a click and draws on a deliberate pull, riding tight and quiet on a belt. The belt loop attachment comes off, allowing for a user preferred carry system in its place.
• American Fixed Blade of the Year - BLADE Magazine handed the Akris this award in Atlanta, where a panel of four judges drawn from different backgrounds in the knife industry worked through a field of 350 to 400 factory entries.
