Blade: A wide spear point blade which has been double ground and sharpened to a razor edge on both sides sporting dual plain cutting edges for clean slicing performance. The premium, Bohler Elmax blade steel delivers optimal performance and is finished with a blasted and tumbled Apocalyptic finish that is discreetly non-reflective and hides wear well. It is engaged via a fast, smooth and reliable double action automatic mechanism. Press the side thumb slide up to open and down to close.

Handle: Factory distressed, hard anodized 6061-T6 aluminum offers 5.25 inches of handle, excluding the breaker, substantial enough for even the largest or gloved hands. Already distressed, the handle has a broken in look that is ready to go. It has a smooth feel with machined grooves perfectly placed on both outer sides for traction. Construction is completed with Microtech's proprietary hardware, integrated glass breaker end and pocket clip. Each is individually numbered and dated around the Microtech 'Talon' logo on the front of the knife.
