The Combat Troodon out-the-front automatic from Microtech is a substantial tool, popular among military, law enforcement and first responders. Its large size lends itself to situations requiring a more robust cutting tool while maintaining a size that is reasonable for daily carry. Like its bird-like dinosaur namesake, this Troodon is ready to strike. This Signature Series version features a stonewashed Hellhound Tanto blade and blue anodized aluminum handle.

Blade: The iconic Hellhound Tanto blade has a two-tone stonewashed finish with satin flats and spine for a classy look. The plain cutting edge offers clean slicing performance with a matte blasted scalloped spine, hole milling and fullers for added style. Double action automatic operation is fast, smooth, and reliable. Move the thumb slide up to deploy and down to retract. An internal spring remains at rest in both positions to reduce wear.

Handle: Hard anodized 6061-T6 aluminum offers nearly 5 inches of handle, excluding the breaker, substantial enough for even the largest of gloved hands. It has a smooth feel with machined grooves perfectly placed on both outer sides for solid traction. Construction is completed with proprietary hardware, integrated glass breaker end and pocket clip. Each knife is individually numbered and dated on the clip along with the signature mark and Talon logo.

Carries via a right hand stainless steel pocket clip.

Blade steel is unmarked. It is likely one of the many high performance steels (i.e., M390, Elmax, 204P, etc.) used by Microtech knives.
