The Combat Troodon double action out-the-front automatic knife from Microtech is a substantial tool, popular among military, law enforcement and first responders. Its large size lends itself to situations requiring a more robust cutting tool while remaining slender enough to keep on your person daily. This Signature Series Hellhound variant has a sterile black handle and matching black DLC coated blade and hardware.

Blade: The Hellhound Tanto has an aggressive upper swedge paired with a saw-tooth spine and plain cutting edge all made from high performance stainless steel with a durable, blade Diamond-Like Carbon or DLC coating. DLC is corrosion resistant and discreetly non-reflective while a subtle tumble finish give it a rugged look. The 4" inch blade features a fast, smooth, double-action mechanism. Move the thumb slide up to deploy and down to retract. An internal spring remains at rest in both positions reducing wear.

Handle: A sterile, contoured black anodized 6061-T6 aluminum handle offers 5.25 inches of handle, excluding the breaker, substantial enough for even the largest or gloved hands. Several areas of machine-grooved texturing around the outsides and flats of the handle add traction in the hand. Handle construction is completed with Microtech's proprietary black DLC hardware, glass breaker end and pocket clip with date of production, logo and signature.
