The Combat Troodon out-the-front automatic from Microtech is a substantial tool, popular among military, law enforcement and first responders. Its large size lends itself to situations requiring a more robust cutting tool while remaining slim enough for daily carry. Like its bird-like dinosaur namesake, this Troodon is ready to strike. This version comes with a two-tone black M390 double edge blade, black hardware and Red anodized aluminum handle.

Blade: The double edge blade has a durable poly-ceramic black Cerakote coating on the grinds with fine satin flats. Dual plain cutting edges deliver clean slicing performance with a powerful piercing tip. Double action automatic operation is fast, smooth, and reliable. Move the thumb slide up to deploy and down to retract. An internal spring remains at rest in both positions to reduce wear.

Handle: Robust, hard anodized aircraft-grade alloy offers just over 5 inches of grip real estate to accommodate the largest of hands even in gloves. The knife is comfortable in the hand, with contoured edges, while wide sections of jimping are perfectly placed for a secure grip. Black proprietary hardware, integrated glass breaker end and pocket clip complete the construction.

Bohler M390: Bohler M390 (analog to CPM-20CV and CTS-204P) is a premium powder metallurgy (PM) stainless steel with high carbide content for some of the highest edge retention and corrosion resistance, while being relatively easy to sharpen. A popular choice for high-end production and custom knives. Relatively high carbide volume and coarse microstructure gives this steel lower toughness.
