The Blade: A wide spear point blade which has been double ground and sharpened to a razor edge on both sides sports dual plain edges delivering the clean cutting performance along the length of both edges. The M390 blade steel was chosen for its high levels of edge retention and corrosion resistance and executed in a very attractive machine satin finish on the grinds. It is engaged via a dual action automatic mechanism. Simply press the side thumb slide up to open and then back down to close. Simple, fast and smooth. 

The Handle: Black hard coated 6061-T6 aluminum offers 5.25 inches of handle, excluding the breaker, substantial enough for even the largest or gloved hands. It has a smooth feel with machined grooves perfectly placed on both outer sides. It is built with Microtech's standard proprietary hardware, integrated glass breaker end and pocket clip. Each is individually numbered and dated around the Microtech 'Talon' logo on the front of the knife.
