The Blade: The long Wharncliffe blade combines powerful cutting performance with an elegant slender look. Premium M390 blade steel was chosen for its edge retention and corrosion resistant properties. The grinds have a fine stonewash finish that hides wear while the flats are a bright satin. It deploys via a dual action automatic mechanism for fast, smooth operation. Simply press the thumb slide up to open and then back down to close.
The Handle: Milled, Gray anodized aluminum offers over 5 inches of handle, long enough for extra large or gloved hands. It has contoured milling with smooth edges for excellent hand and finger placement. It is built with Microtech's proprietary hardware, integrated titanium striker pommel with lanyard hole and media grey titanium pocket clip. The side of the handle includes the production date, individual serial number and logos.
