The Microtech Knives Troodon out the front automatic knife is a substantial tool while still retaining a compact size that can be easily carried every day. Now available in a Mini version with sub-2 inch blade, the Troodon offers a compact cutting tool with lightening fast deployment. Named after a bird-like dinosaur from the Campanian Age, the Mini Troodon is ready to strike. This version comes with a black coated double edge blade and black anodized aluminum handle.

Blade: A sub-2 inch dagger-like double edge blade has dual razor sharp plain cutting edges for clean slicing performance. Premium stainless steel delivers excellent edge retention and corrosion resistance with relative ease of sharpening. A non-reflective Black Cerakote finish on the blade protects the steel from use with a subtly contrasting satin on the flats creating a two-tone effect. Reliably fast and smooth, the blade is operated via a double action automatic mechanism. Press the slide up to deploy and down to retract. An internal spring remains at rest in both positions to reduce wear.

Handle: Robust, black hard anodized, aircraft-grade aluminum offers just under 3.5 inches of handle, excluding the breaker, for a solid grip for all but the largest hands. Comfortable in the hand, the handle has contoured edges and wide sections of jimping strategically placed for a secure grip. Construction is completed with proprietary Microtech hardware, integrated glass breaker end and pocket clip.

Carries via a right hand, tip down pocket clip with production date and serial number.

CTS-204P: A highly wear-resistant, powder metallurgy stainless steel, CTS-204P has some of the highest edge retention and corrosion resistance available. CTS-204P is similar in performance to CPM-20CV and Bohler's M390.
