This Microtech MSI pairs a Frag-milled aluminum handle in Distressed Grenade Green Cerakote with an Apocalyptic M390MK blade. It is a thick-stock working folder on the Microtech RAM-LOK, built for hard use and flat cuts.

• One-Handed Operation - The oversized blade hole lets your thumb roll the blade open at whatever speed you want, gloves on or off. Slide the X button lock bar on either side of the handle to drop the blade closed easily. Lockup arrives with no side-to-side play.
• M390MK Blade Steel - M390MK is Bohler M390 run to Microtech spec, carrying a low-glare Apocalyptic finish here. It holds a working edge far longer than common stainless and fights off rust. Sharpening is the trade. Reach for diamond or CBN stones when the edge finally goes.
• Frag-Milled Aluminum Handle - The frag pattern cuts rows of squared off pyramids into machined aluminum for grip that holds through sweat and gloves without being too aggressive. A titanium backspacer ties the frame together, and the Distressed Grenade Green finish already looks worn in.
• Reversible Pocket Clip - The clip unbolts with a driver and remounts on the opposite side of the handle. Left handed carry gets the same tip up position, and the lock buttons already sit on both sides. Nothing here is set up for righties only.

The Microtech MSI, or Microtech Standard Issue, is a hard-use manual folder and the first knife to carry the RAM-LOK mechanism.  Microtech built it as a manual folder for heavy-duty work rather than a showpiece, with a broad handle and a lock you can run from either side. The design goal was a big folder that opens, closes, and locks without ever changing your grip. Pull the bar with a gloved thumb on a cold job site and the blade swings free on the first try.
