Being a blend of the tactical Combat Troodon OTF, Socom Elite and EDC Ultratech, the Scarab II from Microtech is the perfect choice when you are looking for a low drag, tactical daily carry option. Construction and operation are Microtech standard with a snappy dual coil spring automatic action. This version has a flat, black hard anodized aluminum handle with black traction inserts and a black coated Tanto blade.

Blade: Fluted channels on the flats and spine of the blade help keep the channels clear on the Scarab II and allow it to fire while fully submerged. The Tanto profile offers utilitarian cutting performance for general use with a high saber grind for balanced slicing and durability and a robust Tanto point for piercing. A durable, black Cerakote coating is discreetly non-reflective and corrosion resistant. Action is reliably fast and smooth thanks to the double action automatic mechanism. Move the thumb slide up to deploy and down to retract. An internal spring remains at rest in both the open and closed position to reduce wear.

Handle: A smooth, black hard anodized 6061-T6 aluminum handle is equipped with black traction inserts front and back for optimal traction even when wet. Several areas of machine-grooved texturing around the outsides enhance traction for added security. Construction is completed with stainless Torx hardware, glass breaker end with lanyard loop and pocket clip with individual serial number, date of production and logo.

Carries via a reversible, tip-down, stainless steel deep carry clip.
