The Microtech Knives Troodon out the front automatic knife is a substantial tool while still retaining a compact size that can be easily carried every day. This knife is elegant enough for dress carry while being a fully capable cutting tool. The Troodon is named after a bird-like dinosaur from the Campanian Age and is ready to strike. This Signature Series version is equipped with a two-tone black, CTS-204P double edge blade and a black hard anodized frame with patinaed copper top.

Blade: A wide spear point blade which has been double ground and sharpened to a razor edge on both sides sports dual plain edges delivering the clean cutting performance along the length of both edges. The American CTS-204P blade steel was chosen for high level of corrosion resistance as well as exceptional edge retention and relative ease of sharpening. The two-tone, black with satin flats, blade finish is discreetly non-reflective and the poly-ceramic Cerakote is durable and corrosion resistant. A double action automatic mechanism delivers fast, smooth and reliable operation. Press the thumb slide up to open and down to close.

Handle: Substantial enough for large hands the handle offers just over 4.25 inches of grip area excluding the breaker end. Made of robust, black hard anodized, aircraft-grade alloy the frame is topped with a rugged, patinaed copper top that gives a nice heft in the hand and unique look. The knife is comfortable in the hand, with contoured edges, while wide sections of jimping are perfectly placed for a secure grip. It is built with black proprietary Microtech hardware, integrated glass breaker end and pocket clip with production date, logo, signature and serial number.

Carries via a right hand, tip down, deep carry stainless steel clip. 

CTS-204P: A highly wear-resistant, powder metallurgy stainless steel, CTS-204P has some of the highest edge retention and corrosion resistance available. CTS-204P is similar in performance to CPM-20CV and Bohler's M390.
