The Microtech Knives Troodon out the front automatic knife is a substantial tool while still retaining a compact size that can be easily carried every day. This knife is elegant enough for dress carry while being a fully capable cutting tool. The Troodon is named after a bird-like dinosaur from the Campanian Age and is ready to strike. This version is equipped with an Apocalyptic Bronze double edge CTS-204P blade, black hard anodized handle and Apocalyptic Bronze hardware.

Blade: A wide spear point blade which has been double ground and sharpened to a razor edge on both sides sports dual plain edges delivering the clean cutting performance along the length of both edges. The American CTS-204P steel delivers excellent edge retention and corrosion resistance and relative ease of sharpening. Stylish and classy, the blade has a blasted and tumbled Apocalyptic Bronze finish that hides wear from use and is discreetly non-reflective. The blade has a double action automatic mechanism for fast, smooth operation. Move the thumb slide up to deploy and down to retract. An internal spring remains at rest in both the open and closed position to reduce wear.

Handle: Robust, hard anodized, aircraft-grade alloy offers just over 4.25 inches of handle, excluding the breaker, substantial enough for large hands without becoming cumbersome in the pocket. The knife is comfortable in the hand, with contoured edges, while wide sections of jimping are perfectly placed for a secure grip. It is built with proprietary Apocalyptic Bronze Microtech hardware, integrated glass breaker end and pocket clip.

Carries via a right hand, tip down pocket clip with production date and serial number.

CTS-204P: A highly wear-resistant, powder metallurgy stainless steel, CTS-204P has some of the highest edge retention and corrosion resistance available. CTS-204P is similar in performance to CPM-20CV and Bohler's M390.
