The Microtech Knives Troodon out the front automatic knife is a substantial tool while still retaining a compact size that can be easily carried every day. This knife is elegant enough for dress carry while being a fully capable cutting tool. The Troodon is named after a bird-like dinosaur from the Campanian Age and is ready to strike. This Tactical version is equipped with a double edge blade of two-tone black M390 stainless steel, black hard anodized handle and matching hardware.

Blade: A wide spear point blade which has been double ground and sharpened to a razor edge on both sides sports dual plain edges delivering the clean cutting performance along the length of both edges. Premium M390 stainless steel was chosen for high level of corrosion resistance and edge retention with relative ease of sharpening. The two-tone, black with satin flats, blade finish is discreet and classy. It is engaged via a dual action automatic mechanism. Simply press the side thumb slide up to open and then back down to close. Simple, fast and smooth.

Handle: Robust, hard anodized, aircraft-grade alloy offers just over 4.25 inches of handle, excluding the breaker, substantial enough for large hands without becoming cumbersome in the pocket. The knife is comfortable in the hand, with contoured edges, while wide sections of jimping are perfectly placed for a secure grip. It is built with Tactical black proprietary Microtech hardware, integrated glass breaker end and pocket clip with production date and serial number.
