Blade: Equipped with a durable black Cerakote coating, the M390 bayonet blade has a sharpened false edge tapering to a fine tip for powerful piercing. The saber ground, clean slicing plain edge balances strength and performance. Double action automatic operation is fast, smooth, and reliable. Move the thumb slide up to deploy and down to retract. An internal spring remains at rest in both positions to reduce wear.
Handle: The smooth, hard anodized 6061-T6 aluminum handle has contoured edges for comfort and smooth pocket transition. Strategic edge jimping enhances traction and proprietary Microtech hardware rounds out construction along with the glass breaker end and serialized and dated pocket clip.
Carries via a right-hand stainless steel pocket clip.
Bohler M390: Bohler M390 (analog to CPM-20CV and CTS-204P) is a premium powder metallurgy (PM) stainless steel with high level edge retention and corrosion resistance. A popular choice for high-end production and custom knives, M390 is relatively easy to sharpen, with toughness on par with 440C/154CM.
