The Ultratech dual action out the front automatic knife from Microtech sets the standard for the category. This Hellhound version has a G10 topped handle and two-toned black DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) finished Tanto-styled blade.

The Blade: Equipped with a brilliant two-tone black DLC/satin finish, the tanto point has a plain standard cutting edge. The Hellhound tanto has an aggressive upper swedge paired with a saw-tooth spine built from high performance M390 blade steel. The grinds, fullers and machine holes feature a black DLC coating while the flats are a shiny satin. The sawback spine sports a dueling a high contrast effect when viewed from above. The sub-3.5" inch blade features a double action mechanism. Simply move the all black thumb slide on the side of the handle up to deploy and down to retract. An internal spring remains at rest in both the open and closed position to reduce wear. The action is fast and smooth.

The Handle: A smooth, contoured G10 top scale and black 6061-T6 aluminum bottom creates a comfortable feel in-hand and a smooth transition in and out of your pocket. There are several areas of machine-grooved texturing around the outsides adding traction in the hand. The blasted G10 and black aluminum is subtle in use and carry and easy on your pockets. The handle construction is completed with Microtech's proprietary black titanium hardware, glass breaker end and pocket clip with date of production, logo and signature.
