The Microtech UTX-70 is 70% of the size of the standard Ultratech making this double action auto ideal for everyday carry. This version has a distressed, tan anodized, contoured aluminum handle and single edge, drop point M390 blade with Apocalyptic finish.

Blade: Equipped with a rugged blasted and tumbled Apocalyptic finish, the drop point has a plain single cutting edge. The drop point is utilitarian and made from high performance Bohler M390 stainless steel. Dual fullers, top swedge and satin flats and spine offer added visual appeal while the blasted and tumbled Apocalyptic finish on the grinds hides wear and is non-reflective for a rugged look. The sub-3 inch blade features a double action mechanism for smooth and fast operation. Simply move the thumb slide on the side of the handle up to deploy and down to retract. An internal spring remains at rest in both the open and closed position to reduce wear.

Handle: A smooth, tan hard anodized 6061-T6 aluminum handle has rounded edges creating a comfortable feel in-hand and smooth pocket transition. The factory distressed finish gives the knife a rugged, worn-in look that hides wear from use and carry. The UTX-70 is slimmer than the Ultratech or UTX-85 allowing it to be carried in a watch pocket or shirt pocket as well as via the clip. The handle's construction is completed with Microtech's proprietary hardware, glass breaker end and blasted pocket clip with individual serial number/date of production.
