The Microtech UTX-70 (15% smaller than the UTX-85) is a miniature double action out-the-front automatic knife. The smallest in the Ultratech line, the UTX-70 is an ultra friendly size for everyday carry, fitting perfectly in a watch or shirt pocket. This version has a violet anodized aluminum handle and two-tone black Cerakote coated, double edge M390 blade.

Blade: The double edge M390 dagger blade has two razor sharp plain cutting edges and a fine, piercing point. A sub-2.5 inch length complies with many length restrictions while offering enough edge for daily utility. Satin flats and durable black Cerakote coating on the grinds deliver a classy and discreet two-tone finish. Double action automatic operation is fast, smooth, and reliable. Move the thumb slide up to deploy and down to retract. An internal spring remains at rest in both positions to reduce wear.

Handle: Smooth anodized 6061-T6 aluminum has ergonomic, contoured edges creating a comfortable in-hand feel and smooth transition in and out of your pocket and strategic jimping for a secure grip. The slim handle practically disappears in carry while offering a solid platform for use. Handle construction is completed with proprietary hardware, glass breaker end and pocket clip with individual serial number/date of production.

Bohler M390: Bohler M390 (analog to CPM-20CV and CTS-204P) is a premium powder metallurgy (PM) stainless steel with high level edge retention and corrosion resistance. A popular choice for high-end production and custom knives, M390 is relatively easy to sharpen, with toughness on par with 440C/154CM.
