Microtech UTX-70 D/E Stonewashed M390 Standard Double Edge Black OTF Automatic 147-10

The UTX-70 (15% smaller than the UTX-85) is a mini double action out-the-front automatic knife from Microtech that's one of the most friendly for everyday carry. The diminutive size is perfect for watch pocket or key ring carry for dress or daily use. This version has a black anodized aluminum handle and a stonewashed double edge M390 blade.

Blade: Equipped with wear hiding stonewashed finish on the grinds, the double edge blade has two razor sharp cutting edges. Both edges are clean slicing plain edges that terminate at a fine piercing point. A central fuller and contrasting satin flats deliver visual appeal while the sub-2.5 inch length allows for more permissive carry. Double action automatic operation is fast, smooth, and reliable. Move the slide up to deploy and down to retract. An internal spring remains at rest in both the open and closed position to reduce wear.

Handle: A smooth hard anodized 6061-T6 aluminum handle has chamfered edges creating a comfortable feel in-hand and smooth pocket transition. A small dress carry OTF automatic, the UTX-70 is smaller, thinner, than the other Ultratech models for ease of carry while retaining jimping for a solid grip. Construction is completed with proprietary hardware, glass breaker end and pocket clip with individual serial number/date of production.

A popular choice for high-end production and custom knives, M390 is relatively easy to sharpen, with toughness on par with 440C/154CM.
