This Signature Series UTX-85 (15% smaller than an Ultratech or 85% the size of one) dual action out the front automatic knife from Microtech makes an even friendlier every day carry option. This version has a Carbon Fiber Topped black contoured handle and classy Damascus Tanto Point-styled blade.

The Blade: Equipped with a stunning tanto point blade that has a plain standard cutting edge. The tanto is super piercy and built from Damascus steel. Complete with upper swedge grind and a fuller running down each side. The 3.125 inch blade features a double action opening and retracting mechanism. Simply move the copper accented thumb slide on the side of the handle up to deploy and down to retract. An internal spring remains at rest in both the open and closed position to reduce wear. The action is smooth and fast. 

The Handle: Smooth, black coated 6061-T6 aluminum with rounded edges sports a carbon fiber top creating not only a comfortable feel in-hand but a smooth transition in and out of your pocket. There are several areas of machine-grooved texturing around the outsides aiding in grip. This lighter more ergonomic grip is easy on the hands and eyes. The handle's construction is completed with Microtech's proprietary Copper Ringed hardware, glass breaker end and Signature black clip with individual serial number/date of production.
