The Microtech UTX-85 double action out-the-front automatic is a slim everyday carry option that offers the same durable construction and solid performance in a more compact package (15% smaller than an Ultratech or 85% the size). This version has a black contoured handle and plain edge, satin Elmax Tanto blade.

Blade: The Tanto blade has a razor sharp plain cutting edge for clean slicing performance. Bright machine satin on the grinds and swedge offer a subtle contrast to the fine satin flats and spine and blasted fullers. Double action automatic operation is fast and smooth. Move the thumb slide up to deploy and down to retract. An internal spring remains at rest in both positions to reduce wear.

Handle: Smooth, black anodized 6061-T6 aluminum has contoured edges for comfort and smooth pocket transition. Strategic jimping around the outside edge enhances traction for a secure grip. Proprietary hardware, glass breaker end and serialized pocket clip complete the construction.

Carries via a right-hand stainless steel deep carry clip.
