Brand new, directly from Mike Irie.
Blade: The Model 110 has a perfect hunter's blade with a Spear point profile, robust tip, shallow hollow grind and subtle recurve. With the Spear Point top swedge this version gains the benefit of better piercing performance with a slight reduction in tip strength. The blade is narrow enough for skinning tasks while being durable enough to handle heavier work. CPM-154 provides a good balance of performance and is equipped with a hand rubbed satin finish for that truly custom touch. Jimping at the spine provides a solid thumb rest, enhancing traction in the hand for optimal control.
Handle: Simple and ergonomic are perfect words to describe the handles of the Irie 110. The subtle guard, generous palm swell and birds beak pommel help secure the knife in your grip while still allowing for the knife to be comfortable in multiple grips and easily maneuverable for a variety of tasks. This piece comes with polished Black Linen Micarta bolsters and a beautiful, stabilized dyed Maple Burl wood handle. A large, polished stainless steel tube is provided for lanyard attachment.
Sheath: Includes a hand stitched leather belt sheath for carry.
CPM-154: CPM-154 is a particle metallurgy version of 154CM that benefits from the refinement in the PM process providing it with an increase in toughness and easy of finishing. CPM-154 takes a very fine edge and is highly corrosion resistant. Edge retention is going to be on-par with CPM S30V while being easier to resharpen. A great all-around blade steel.
