The Mike Irie UC-1 in Camo Green G10 carries a hand rubbed CPM-154 harpoon blade in a contoured full tang handle, each one ground by hand in a small Colorado Springs shop for fit you feel right away.

• Camo Green G10 Handle — Polished Camo Green G10 scales sit over a full tang. Finger recesses cut into the steel give every finger a set groove for a locked-in hold. Three hollow pins hold the scales tight and leave an opening for a lanyard.
• CPM-154 Harpoon Spear Point Blade — A recurved harpoon spear point carries a hand rubbed satin finish, with a thumb ramp and jimping on the spine for control during fine work. CPM-154 stainless takes a keen edge and resists rust with light upkeep.
• Black Kydex Belt Sheath — A molded black Kydex sheath snaps onto the blade with a firm click and threads onto a belt for upright carry. The hard shell guards the edge and lets you pull the knife free with one hand.

Mike Irie has built fixed blades full time since 1991, working out of a shop in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He learned the trade under his father-in-law, knifemaker Barry Wood, and now keeps around twenty standard patterns in rotation. The UC-1, short for Urban Carry, is a compact full tang fixed blade sized for everyday carry on a belt. Each one is ground by hand, with finger recesses in the tang and a thumb ramp on the spine for control during close work.
