Details

The Mike Irie Custom Model 110 lightweight Hunter is an ideal size for hunting, woodcraft or daily carry or as a mid-sized fixed blade for any collection. Mike Irie is renowned for his hand-ground blades and his Custom Model 110 showcases his skill and attention to detail. This piece comes with a compound ground hand rubbed blade of CPM-154 and a green micarta handle.

Knife is brand new, direct from the maker at the 2019 USN Gathering in Las Vegas.

Blade: The Model 110 has the perfect hunter's blade with a robust tip, shallow hollow grind and subtle recurve. This updated model includes a new compound grind, which requires much more skill than a traditional grind. The blade is narrow enough for skinning tasks while being robust enough to handle heavier work. CPM-154 provides a good balance of performance and is equipped with a hand rubbed satin finish for that truly custom touch. Jimping at the spine provides a solid thumb rest and adds traction.

Handle: Simple and ergonomic are perfect words to describe the handles of the Irie 110. The subtle guard, generous palm swell and birds beak pommel help secure the knife in your grip while still allowing for the knife to be comfortable in multiple grips and easily maneuverable for a variety of tasks. This piece comes with a polished micarta handle and feels great in the hand. A large, polished stainless steel tube is provided for lanyard attachment.

Sheath: Includes a hand-made kydex sheath for belt carry.
