Blade: A perfect hunter's blade, the utilitarian spear point has a fine tip for piercing and detail work, a slicing shallow hollow grind with a subtle recurve cutting edge. Coming in under an inch wide, the blade is narrow enough for skinning tasks and durable enough for heavier work. CPM-S35VN provides a good balance of performance and is equipped with a hand rubbed satin finish for a classy, custom feel. Jimping at the spine delivers a solid thumb rest with enhanced traction, while an index guard delivers added safety in heavy use.

Handle: Canvas Micarta scales are secured to the full tang via a single stainless pin and a hollow tube which allows for lanyard attachment. Both scales are polished and contoured for style and ergonomic comfort in the hand, with a large palm swell and bird's beak pommel for a secure grip. The handle is well-balanced and comfortable in a variety of grips, while the deep index finger groove pairs with the jimped thumb ramp for added security.

Carries via a Kydex sheath with integral belt loop.

CPM-S35VN: Modified CPM-S30V designed for improved toughness (15-20%) and ease of machining and polishing. Well-balanced for daily use, S35VN has better edge retention and toughness compared to 440C or VG10, with equivalent corrosion resistance.

Mike Irie is a custom knife maker from Colorado Springs, Colorado who has been making knives full-time since 1991. He apprenticed under his father-in-law, Barry Wood. Irie is a member of the Knifemakers Guild and the Professional Knifemakers Association. Maker Irie handcrafts both fixed and folding blades.
