Blade: The utilitarian drop point blade of the Arvenis is made from Bohler M390 delivering top level performance in both edge retention and corrosion resistance. The blade is finished with a rugged stonewash that hides wear well. The nearly full flat grind offers excellent slicing performance while the crowned spine delivers comfort and class. A thrust bearing pivot and well tuned detent provide fast and decisive flipper deployment.
Handle: Milled Black G10 scales are executed in a machine micro-textured and contoured design with red anodized aluminum inlays that complement the G10. The neutral handle design is comfortable in a variety of grips while still being secure thanks to the gentle taper and flared pommel end. A Red anodized backspacer and stainless steel pocket clip complete this piece.
Carries via a stainless steel pocket clip set up for right hand, tip-up carry.
About M390: Bohler M390 has become an extremely popular choice for high-end user grade knives thanks to its extreme edge retention. M390 also has a good corrosion resistance, meaning most users can avoid problems by simply wiping off their blade after each use. Another great feature of this steel is its ability to resist burr formation during sharpening. Comparable steels are CTS-204P and Duratech 20CV.
