Fox Knives, as part of MKM and the Mikita network, has teamed up with custom maker Lucas Burnley to deliver the Arvenis a bearing pivot flipper that has a clean, utilitarian design with visual appeal delivered via a unique milled handle with inlays and custom style pivot and pocket clip. This Arvenis is built with a full titanium frame lock construction, dual Damasteel inlays, blue anodized pivot collars and pocket clip and Vinland Damasteel blade.

The Blade: Vinland pattern Damasteel has a striking visual appeal and a high corrosion resistance that sets it apart from other Damascus steels. On the utilitarian drop point blade of the Arvenis it really makes a statement. The blade has a nearly full flat grind for excellent slicing performance with crowned spine for comfort and class. A thrust bearing pivot and well tuned detent provide fast and decisive flipper deployment.

Handle: A full titanium frame lock construction is executed in a machine micro-textured and contoured design with dual Vinland Damasteel inlays that match the blade. The neutral handle design in comfortable in a variety of grips while still being secure thanks to the gentle taper and flared pommel end. Blue anodized pivot collars, hardware, backspacer and pocket clip complete this piece.

Carries via a 3D Machined Titanium pocket clip set up for right hand, tip-up carry.

About Damasteel: A high hardness, high corrosion resistant steel that combines two martensitic stainless steels - RWL34 and PMC27 - in unique patterns that, when etched, create the designs seen in the blade. Damasteel delivers a blade that is very eye-catching and has performance in the realm of RWL34, similar to CPM154.
